When I first made this series, it was a commentary on the addictive nature of social media emanating from our smartphones. We get together with others but we’re not present. We’re in the same room, but we aren’t.

When Canada went into COVID lockdown in early 2020, these pieces found a new meaning for me. Now, those same devices that were isolating us were being used to connect us and help us cope with this new and strange situation.
